INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE AND ENERGY FORUM-2022

Hosted by Istanbul Aydin University, in collaboration with Istanbul Aydin University’s Center for Environment and Human Health, TESPAM (Turkish Climate Change and Clean Energy Center), and ITU (Istanbul Technical University), and with the partnership of the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), the Green Homeland Platform, and the support of the UNESCO Chair, the International Climate and Energy Forum was conducted online. Throughout the day, the forum featured five different sessions on the topics of COP26 and Global Fight Against Climate Change, Carbon Emission Limits and Environmental Risks, Carbon Economy and Green Trade, Financial and Technological Competencies, and Turkey’s Green Goals. The forum saw participation from 29 different speakers, including representatives from universities, the private sector, and esteemed state institutions such as the Presidency of Climate Change, TUBITAK MAM, and more. The event was attended by 300 national and international participants throughout the day.
