WE BREAK DOWN BARRIERS IN COMMUNICATION!
The “We Break Down Barriers in Communication” seminar was organized by Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Education, Unimpeded Life Application and Research Center in collaboration with Anatolia Education and Culture Foundation. In the seminar where there was a massive turnout, the President of Federation of Hearing Impaired Muammer Ay stated that there are 4.5 million hearing-impaired people in Turkey and that the number of individuals who speak sign language is very low. He stated that we need to take serious steps to spread sign language.
