Vefa Meetings
The Vefa Meetings Project, initiated in collaboration with Istanbul Aydın University, Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation, Mustafa Aydın Foundation, and Anadolu BİL Vocational School, brings together various segments of society for meaningful gatherings.
As part of this initiative, students and academics from the Hair Care and Beauty Services Program at Anadolu BİL Vocational School met with the elderly residents of a nursing home. During the event held before the holiday, students and academics provided personal care to the elderly, offering them encouragement and support. The event also included enjoyable conversations, allowing the elderly to share their memories and spend quality time with the students and academics.
Through the Vefa Meetings Project, the social responsibility awareness of our students was reinforced, and moral and support were provided to the elderly residents of the nursing home.
