The Miracle of Breast Milk Panel to Be Held

The panel titled “The Miracle of Breast Milk”, organized in cooperation between Istanbul Aydın University and the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), will be held to address the effects of breast milk on infant health from a scientific and multidisciplinary perspective. Expert academics and healthcare professionals will share important insights ranging from the biological structure of breast milk to its impact on gut microbiota, from its role in the parenting process to preventive health approaches.

The panel will be chaired by Dr. Arzu Dinç Yavaş, faculty member at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Istanbul Aydın University.

Within the scope of the program, Pharmacist Asuman Çakıroğlu from the Association of Rational Pharmacy will present “The Miracle Molecules of the Body and the Pharmacist’s Approach in the Parenting Journey”, and Pharmacist Burcu Onay will present “Your Baby’s Health is Hidden in Your Milk.”

From the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Aydın University, Assoc. Prof. Hasret Ayyıldız Civan will present “The Most Functional Nutrient Known: Breast Milk”, and from the Department of Medical Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Medeniyet University, Dr. İbrahim Alper Kaya will present “The Effect of Exosomal microRNAs in Breast Milk on the Gut Flora.”
