Technology Addiction Awareness Seminar for Youth

In the digital age, the conscious and balanced use of technology is more important than ever. Organized in collaboration with Istanbul Aydın University, the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), and the Science Communication Office, the seminar titled “Technology Addiction” will examine young people’s relationship with technology from a multidimensional perspective.

Within the scope of the seminar, the following topics will be discussed through scientific and up-to-date examples:

• What technology addiction is,
• The psychological and social effects of digital habits,
• The impact of social media, gaming, and screen use on young people,
• Ways to develop healthy digital behaviors.

The event will be delivered by Dr. Mert Can Atar, Faculty Member of the Department of New Media and Communication at Istanbul Aydın University.
