HISTORY
Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) was established in 1995 by Dr. Mustafa AYDIN and a majority of the founding members comprised academic professionals and businesspeople who believed that the most significant capital of a country is educated individuals.
AKEV aims to nurture the youth of our country to be responsible, continuously developing, productive, creative, and constructive individuals who serve as exemplary and highly qualified contributors to our country and the world in the fields of production and services.
Guided by the principle of elevating the people of our country, especially the younger generation, above global standards and better educating them in every field, AKEV, through agreements with private and public educational institutions across every region of Turkey, provides educational scholarships every year to many successful students with limited financial resources and earthquake victims.
With its ambitious, creative, constructive, and harmonious approach to education and its activities aligned with its goals, AKEV has made a significant impact, producing a resounding voice in education and training. Established in 2003, the Anatolian BIL Vocational School, and in 2007, Istanbul Aydin University contribute to the development of the Turkish higher education system by making a contemporary, technological, and innovative approach felt on every platform.
AKEV has also adopted the mission of being a bridge for qualified human resources trained in education, science, and technology, as well as in cultural fields, in line with the evolving needs of society. Recognizing the connectivity and responsibility of this bridge, spanning from Asia to Europe, AKEV continues its efforts in implementing projects based on social responsibility, involving all stakeholders.
