SMILING FACES IN THE SHELTER PROJECT- 2023

Within the scope of the “Smiling Faces at Home” project, the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation, in collaboration with Istanbul Aydin University Dentaydin, organized an important event for children under state protection at the Zeytinburnu Orphanage. The aim of this project is to provide our children with a healthier future and increase social awareness.

To start, we conducted comprehensive dental screenings to check the oral and dental health of the children. Through these screenings, we obtained the opportunity to identify problems that can be treated with early diagnosis. Subsequently, we organized educational sessions to raise awareness among the children about oral and dental health. These sessions covered topics such as proper oral care habits, dietary recommendations, and the importance of dental health.

This collaboration not only improves the oral and dental health of our children but also contributes to an increased sense of social responsibility. Healthy smiles are every child’s right, and we take on the mission of protecting these rights.”
