Smiling Faces at Home Project 2023
The Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation, in collaboration with Istanbul Aydın University’s Dentaydın, organized a significant event under the “Smiling Faces at Home” project for children under state protection at the Zeytinburnu Youth Care Home. The aim of this project is to provide a healthier future for these children and to raise social awareness.
Initially, comprehensive dental screenings were conducted to check the oral and dental health of the children. These screenings allowed us to identify issues that could be treated with early diagnosis. Following this, educational sessions were held to raise awareness about oral and dental health. Topics covered included proper oral care habits, nutrition tips, and the importance of dental health.
This collaboration not only improves the oral and dental health of the children but also contributes to increasing social responsibility awareness. Healthy smiles are a right for every child, and we are committed to protecting this right.
