Psychodrama Workshop Increases Awareness of Parental Roles

In cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and Istanbul Aydın University (IAU), a psychodrama workshop was organized on April 17, 2025 with the theme of “Improving Parental Roles and Protecting Children’s Boundaries.” The workshop was held at Florya Orphanage and was attended by Psychodramatist Lecturer. Assist. Dilek Özyürek led the workshop. Designed especially for adults caring for children between the ages of 5-12, the workshop was attended by expert staff working in orphanages affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services. Throughout the workshop, participants went through a comprehensive awareness process on re-evaluating parental roles and protecting children’s developmental boundaries through interactive methods.
