BOUNDARIES EDUCATION PROJECT

The Boundaries for Children Education Project aims to help primary school students determine their personal boundaries in a healthy way by supporting their emotional and social development. The project includes activities to develop skills such as recognizing and expressing children’s feelings, developing self-esteem, learning about children’s rights, recognizing and expressing physical boundaries, gaining self-confidence, being able to say “no” and protecting oneself. In the project targeting students and their teachers from 1st to 4th grade, parents will be trained to recognize and support their children’s boundaries.

Within the scope of the project, various applications such as activities for recognizing and expressing emotions, games for developing self-esteem, drama and role-playing activities related to children’s rights, exercises for expressing physical boundaries and boundaries, self-recognition games, “no” activities and self-protection scenarios will be carried out. Seminars for parents and crisis management trainings for teachers are also important components of the project. Expected outcomes include strengthening children’s emotional and social skills, increasing their ability to maintain personal boundaries, and developing self-esteem. The effectiveness of the project will be monitored and evaluated regularly with student performances, teacher and parent feedback.
