HEALTHY SMILE TO LIFE PROJECT – ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH SCREENING EVENTS

Within the scope of the project carried out jointly by Küçükçekmece Municipality, Küçükçekmece District National Education Directorate, Anatolia Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry Hospital, thousands of students were scanned. As a result of the screening studies, mouth and teeth scanning of 25,756 students in a total of 88 schools has been done so far. As a result of the scans, 5 thousand 800 treatment procedures of 934 students were carried out free of charge. We prepared the project with aim of leading a caries-free generation, raising public awareness in the field of oral and dental health, raising awareness of individuals on the importance of preventive treatment, and contributing to the creation of a healthy society. So the project provides free oral and dental health services by reaching those in need.
