“Hands Shaping the Future” Project: A Strong Collaboration for a Sustainable Future

At a meeting hosted by Istanbul Aydın University, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Füsun Terzioğlu and Muratbey Gıda’s Director of Communication and Business Development, Günnur Uluğ, came together to comprehensively discuss ongoing social responsibility initiatives carried out in collaboration with the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), as well as potential new areas for future cooperation.

During the meeting, the critical role of multi-stakeholder collaborations among universities, the private sector, and civil society organizations in generating social impact was emphasized. The importance of expanding sustainability-driven and impact-oriented projects was also highlighted.

Within this framework, the “Hands Shaping the Future” Project aims to support the holistic development of children growing up in child care institutions. Through this project, it is intended that children:

  • develop awareness of sustainability,
  • enhance their creativity and communication skills,
  • strengthen their social adaptation processes,

thereby preparing them to become more equipped and confident individuals for the future.

Transforming university–industry–civil society collaboration into tangible social value, this project presents an inclusive and sustainable model that helps unlock the potential of children.
