Fatma Nur Aydin, born in Istanbul, graduated from Uskudar American Academy and completed her undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Operational Research (Industrial Engineering and Operations Research) at the University of California, Berkeley. She has also worked in Political Economy (Political Economy) and Data Science (Data Science). Aydin, who continues her career as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cyprus University University, also serves as the President of Istanbul Aydin University. Before working at Istanbul Aydin University, McKinsey & Company was a strategy consultant. In her professional career, she also gained significant experience in product and project management at Vestel and Bayer companies. Aydin took part in many leadership positions during his undergraduate education and was President of the Undergraduate Women in Economics at Berkeley community between 2019-2021. She has also made significant contributions as President of the Berkeley Turkish Student Association (Turkish Student Association at Berkeley) and General Secretary of the Associated Students of the University of California (Chief of Staff). Fatma Nur Aydin, who currently serves as the General Secretariat of Anatolian Culture and Education Foundation (AKEV), plays an active role in social responsibility projects. Having implemented educational projects for Syrian women and children, Volunteers United: Education for Syrian Refugee Women and Children was the founder of the organization and took over the presidency. She also served as Ambassador (Ambassador) in the Girls in STEM program. Fatma Nur Aydin specializes in leadership, strategic planning and project management. It has combined strong analytical skills in the field of industrial engineering and operational research with the interdisciplinary perspective gained in the fields of data science and political economy. She speaks fluent English and beginner level (A2) Spanish.
