DECEMBER 3 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF DISABLED PERSONS

11 students with down syndrome, autism and mild mental disabilities became cooks for a day and entered the kitchen. The children first made the dough in the kitchen later they made pizza and cookies.

Anatolia Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and Istanbul Aydın University organized an event for children with disabilities as part of the 3 December International Day of Disabled Persons. Within the scope of the event, consultant gastronomy students and 11 disadvantaged children entered the kitchens of IAU Faculty of Fine Arts Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and they made pizza and cookies under the management Of Lecturer Sefa Sabırlı. While the children, who made their pizza and cookies, were waiting for the food to cool, had fun at the music concert given by Dr. Oya Aylin Büyükbayram.
