Creating a Safe School Environment: Recognizing and Preventing Peer Bullying

On November 25, 2025, a webinar titled “Creating a Safe School Environment: Recognizing and Preventing Peer Bullying” will be held for teachers affiliated with the Keşan District Directorate of National Education.

During the event, Child Psychiatrist Dr. Reyhan Çalışan Kinter and Clinical Psychologist Ezgi Zeynep Altınsoy will share scientific approaches to identifying, preventing, and addressing peer bullying, as well as strategies for fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere in schools.

Throughout the webinar, teachers will receive in-depth information on the types of bullying that occur in peer relationships, early warning signs, the role of teachers in student interactions, and school-based prevention strategies. Additionally, practical examples aimed at strengthening children’s emotional safety will be discussed.
