Bilgelik Program Alumni Gathering -From Idea to Matter: Creative Industries and the Applications of Nanotechnology

As part of the Wisdom Program, implemented through the collaboration of Istanbul Aydın University and the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), a special event was organized for program alumni. Held under the framework of the Wisdom Program Alumni Gathering, the event aimed to explore the fields of creative industries and the applications of nanotechnology from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Titled “From Idea to Matter,” the event featured a comprehensive presentation by Dr. Utku Bulut Şimşek, who addressed current applications and emerging uses of nanotechnology. Lecturer Rahmi Aydemir provided insights into cultural export and production processes within the context of creative industries.

The gathering, which attracted strong interest from Bilgelik Program alumni, offered participants the opportunity to follow recent scientific and technological developments while gaining new perspectives that foster creative thinking. At the same time, the event strengthened interaction among alumni and reinforced the Bilgelik Program’s commitment to lifelong learning, multidisciplinary thinking, and active participation.
