HEARING SCREENING FOR ELDERLY INDIVIDUALS AT ZEYTINBURNU SEMİHA ŞAKİR NURSING HOME

As part of a joint initiative between the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and the Audiology Department of Istanbul Aydın University, comprehensive hearing screenings were conducted for elderly residents at Zeytinburnu Semiha Şakir Nursing Home.

During this project, audiology specialists and students visited the nursing home to assess the hearing health of the elderly residents. The screenings aimed to identify individuals at risk of hearing loss or those already experiencing hearing issues, and to direct them to the appropriate treatment processes.
