VEFA GATHERINGS – PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demet Biçki, Head of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department at Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Faculty of Health Sciences, along with her students, visited Zeytinburnu Semiha Şakir Nursing Home as part of the Vefa Gatherings initiative. This event was organized within the scope of the Vefa Gatherings project, a collaboration between the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and IAU, aimed at improving the quality of life for elderly individuals.

During the visit, Dr. Biçki and her students engaged with the nursing home residents, sharing their knowledge and expertise in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Additionally, various exercise programs and activities were conducted to support the physical well-being of elderly individuals.
