Legal Framework of Child Abuse Webinar Successfully Held

The webinar titled “Legal Framework of Child Abuse”, organized by the Women’s Studies Coordination Office of Istanbul Aydın University, was successfully conducted.

During the program, the legal dimensions of child abuse were thoroughly discussed, with a focus on the protection of children’s rights, legal procedures in abuse cases, and the importance of raising public awareness on this critical issue.

Attorney Süreyya Kardelen Yarlı participated as the guest speaker and provided a comprehensive overview of the legal framework, while Dr. Burcu Güdücü, Coordinator of the Women’s Studies Office at Istanbul Aydın University, moderated the session.

The event was broadcast live on the İAÜ Women’s Studies YouTube channel and attracted significant interest from participants.

Such initiatives aimed at strengthening awareness of children’s rights are planned to continue in the future.
