March 8 and Women Program

The “March 8 and Women” program, organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Aydın University Women’s Studies Coordination Office and the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), will be held on March 9, 2026, at the Purple Hall of the T Block Social Sciences Campus of Istanbul Aydın University.

Within the scope of the program, topics such as the communicational dynamics of violence against women, women’s representation in communication fields, psychosocial intervention approaches, and the legal status and safeguards of women will be discussed by expert academics and professionals.

The event aims to raise academic awareness on women’s rights, strengthen social consciousness, and support interdisciplinary knowledge sharing throughout the day.
