The Journey of Children with Science and Words in Nature Has Been Completed

Implemented under the leadership of Middle East Technical University (METU), in partnership with the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), with the contribution of Sinemart Writing School, and supported by TÜBİTAK 4004 – Science and Nature Education Program, the project “The Journey of Children with Science and Words in Nature” has been successfully completed. With the participation of 30 children, the project included geology workshops, natural process experiments, adventure games, drama and storytelling sessions, creative writing workshops, recycling and environmental awareness activities, as well as museum visits. While discovering science and nature, children also experienced the power of words.

Throughout this journey, children explored the excitement of science, the beauty of nature, and the magic of language. They both enjoyed themselves and took their first steps toward becoming environmentally conscious and creative individuals. Carried out through the collaboration of METU, AKEV, Sinemart Writing School, and TÜBİTAK, this project provided a lasting learning experience that broadened children’s horizons by bringing together science, art, and nature.
