A Psychological Perspective on Children’s Drawings

We hosted Psychologist Hacer Karakaş Avcı in an online seminar organized in cooperation with Istanbul Aydın University, the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Anatolian Educational and Cultural Foundation (AKEV).

This valuable event titled “The Language of Children’s Drawings: A Psychological Perspective” was organized especially for the employees of the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

The seminar aimed to better understand the emotional worlds of children through their drawings; the psychological meanings of colors, figures and spatial layouts were discussed. Participants, as experts working with children, had the opportunity to gain a new perspective on children’s inner worlds
