Advancing with the Visually Impaired

In a collaborative effort involving Istanbul Aydın University, the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation, the Altı Nokta Körler Foundation, and the Mustafa Aydın Foundation, a consortium has been established to provide support in health and education for visually impaired individuals. The first initiative of this consortium focused on dental screening and oral health education, conducted by the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul Aydın University (DentAydın).

The oral health education covered topics such as proper brushing techniques, the use of dental floss, and healthy eating habits, aiming to help individuals maintain their oral and dental health. In addition to the educational sessions, comprehensive dental screenings were performed by DentAydın dentists. These screenings assessed the oral health status of the participants.
