{"id":3773,"date":"2026-05-08T09:04:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T06:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/akev.org.tr\/en\/?p=3773"},"modified":"2026-05-08T09:04:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T06:04:00","slug":"viii-national-congress-on-child-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/akev.org.tr\/en\/viii-national-congress-on-child-research\/","title":{"rendered":"VIII National Congress on Child Research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The VIII National Congress on Child Research was successfully held between May 7\u20139, 2026, at the T Block Social Sciences Campus of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University Florya Campus, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University, the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, and the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized with the aim of encouraging children\u2019s active participation in scientific research processes, supporting the development of a research culture from an early age, and promoting interdisciplinary academic production, the congress brought together students, teachers, academics, and researchers from different cities across T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the three-day congress, oral and poster presentation sessions were held with significant participation. Research studies from a wide range of fields\u2014including educational sciences, artificial intelligence, sustainability, environmental studies, cultural heritage, children\u2019s literature, digital media, psychology, mathematics, art, and technology\u2014were presented to participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the sessions, hundreds of studies supporting children\u2019s scientific thinking, problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, and academic presentation skills were showcased. Contemporary topics such as AI-supported educational applications, environmental and climate awareness, digital culture, peer bullying, sustainable energy, gamified learning models, and cultural studies were among the prominent themes of the congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning with the opening ceremony and protocol speeches, the congress served as an important scientific platform that not only enabled academic exchange but also highlighted children\u2019s research and production processes.
