As part of the Vefa Bulu\u015fmalar\u0131<\/strong> initiative, faculty member Dr. Demet Bi\u00e7ki<\/strong> from the Physiotherapy Department of \u0130stanbul Ayd\u0131n \u00dcniversitesi and her students came together with the residents of Zeytinburnu Semiha \u015eakir Huzurevi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the physiotherapy practices conducted during the visit, the program aimed to support the residents\u2019 mobility, maintain muscle and joint health, and enhance their independence in daily living activities. The sessions were carried out under professional academic supervision with the active participation of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event contributed not only to physical well-being but also to social interaction and emotional motivation. Strengthening intergenerational engagement, this meaningful gathering stands as a concrete example of university\u2013community collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visits, which are regularly organized within the framework of Vefa Bulu\u015fmalar\u0131, aim to improve the quality of life of older adults while fostering a strong sense of social responsibility among students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
