The Bilgelik Program Alumni Meeting<\/strong>, organized in collaboration with Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University, Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), Bilgelik Program, Science Communication Office, and Science Caf\u00e9, was held under the theme \u201cThe Importance of Supplements for a Healthy and Long Life.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place on February 26, 2026<\/strong>, at the Turkuaz Hall, T Block, Social Sciences Campus of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University, where the role of nutritional supplements in healthy aging and improving quality of life was discussed from a scientific perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Healthy Living Addressed Through a Scientific Perspective<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The keynote speaker, Assist. Prof. Dr. Esra Erg\u00fcn Al\u0131\u015f<\/strong>, shared up-to-date scientific insights on the proper use of vitamins, minerals, and supportive supplements, emphasizing the importance of conscious supplement use, particularly in later stages of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, topics such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • principles of healthy and balanced nutrition,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • supporting the immune system,<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Alumni gatherings organized within the scope of the Bilgelik Program provide an important platform that strengthens participants\u2019 connection with the university while promoting lifelong learning. These events bring academics and alumni together, enabling scientific knowledge to reach society and increasing awareness of healthy aging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Bilgelik Program, carried out through the collaboration of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University and the Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), continues to offer participants an active and productive learning environment through activities that support social, cognitive, and physical well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
