{"id":3021,"date":"2025-09-22T09:49:31","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T06:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/akev.org.tr\/en\/?p=3021"},"modified":"2025-10-06T12:37:22","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T09:37:22","slug":"our-tubitak-4004-project-has-been-awarded-support-a-journey-of-children-through-science-and-words-in-nature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/akev.org.tr\/en\/our-tubitak-4004-project-has-been-awarded-support-a-journey-of-children-through-science-and-words-in-nature\/","title":{"rendered":"OUR T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 4004 PROJECT HAS BEEN AWARDED SUPPORT \u2013 A JOURNEY OF CHILDREN THROUGH SCIENCE AND WORDS IN NATURE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Prepared under the coordination of <strong>Middle East Technical University (METU)<\/strong> and awarded support within the scope of the <strong>T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Program<\/strong>, our project will be implemented in partnership with the <strong>Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education, Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University, U\u015fak University, Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV),<\/strong> and <strong>Sinemart Writing School<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The activities will take place between <strong>September 30 \u2013 October 3, 2025<\/strong> at the METU Campus with the participation of 30 disadvantaged students, aged 9\u201311, who have not previously taken part in any T\u00dcB\u0130TAK projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the scope of the project, students will engage in workshops on <strong>nature education, earth sciences, drama, play, and creative writing<\/strong>. Through these activities, they are expected to strengthen their bond with nature, enhance their written and verbal expression skills, expand their imagination, improve their academic competence, and build self-confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the activities, students will be asked to write stories, diaries, and texts.
