SPECIAL EDUCATION FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Istanbul Aydin University (IAU), Anadolu Culture and Education Foundation (AKEV) and Bagcilar Municipality organized the \u201cAcademic Work Program with Special Education Children\u201d. Within the scope of the program hosted by IAU for children with Down Syndrome, 4 weeks of training was provided by expert academicians in the fields of sports, music and gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training program aimed to ensure the socialization of individuals with special needs and to ensure that children help each other and cooperate with each other through the training they received in different fields. Within the scope of the training, special children made pizza, waffles and cookies with instructors in the kitchen of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts. In music lessons, special children sang and danced under the supervision of the Music Teaching Academicians of the Faculty of Education. In sports lessons, they participated in various activities under the supervision of academicians in the IAU indoor sports hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
